Minden Meet Results:

We had 23 swimmers attend the meet.  We had 121 best times.  We had 33 new time standards.  We had 7 DQ’s.

First Swim Meet:

Sofia Garaygay, 6 years old, swam one event – the 25 free.  She did great!

Samantha Garaygay, 8 years old, swam 8 events.  She won every heat!  

High Point Winner Runner-Up:

Sofia Garaygay 6 & Under

Morgan Lloyd 15-16 years

Each swimmer received a very nice Minden towel!

Cannonball Contest:

5 brave parents entered the cannonball contest.  It was very fun to watch!  Thanks for the great half-time show!  Thanks to the following parents (and friends) who supported our team for this annual event:

After the meet, many parents and swimmers met for dinner at Fire & Ice in South Lake Tahoe.  It was a great evening.  Thanks to everyone for making the dinner so special!

Worker of the Month: 

Annalisa Taylor for her dedication, hard work in practice, meet performance (four swims / four best times) and her role model behavior during practice. 

Annalisa received a Worker of the Month Medal.

Swimmer of the Month:

Kyle Covington (Steve’s group) 

10 Swims.  10 best times.  8 New Time Standards.  Kyle is doing fantastic in practice and has started attending two morning practices a week.  Kyle received a Swimmer of the Month cap.
