The first long course meet of the summer season was a huge success.  The weather was perfect and the swimmers did great!  We had 17 swimmers attend the meet.  We had 92 best times.  We had 44 new time standards. 

Swimming in their first long course meet were the following AquaSol swimmers:

Annalisa Taylor (7), Gabriel Taylor (5), Anna Christeson (10), Julian Taylor (9), Shane Marshall (10), Rose Christeson (12), Gabi Avallone (13), Travis Marshall (13) and Mikaela Fuller (13). 

Along with the first-time long course swimmers, the following swimmers had all best times:  

Kevin Mertz (14), Kyle Covington (13), Haley Owens (12), Caffrey Lynch (11) and Hannah Covington (12).

Kevin Mertz received 3 new time standards over the weekend.  AAA USA Time Standards in the 200 IM (2.28.67), 200 Fly (2:22.81) and BB USA Times Standard in the 100 Back (1:15.83). 

Haley Owens achieved an A USA Time Standard in the 200 Breaststroke (3:19.68).

Receiving new BB USA Time Starndards for events were the following swimmers:

Molly Covington - 100 Back (1:43.53) , 50 free (40.52) and  Kyle Covington - 200 free (2:42.99) .
