DavisB509 Swimming in the rain at the Davis "B" Invitational Short Course meet May 2nd & 3rd were the following 9 AquaSol swimmers:

Gabe Taylor (5), Annalisa Taylor (7), Sofia Garaygay (9), Julian Tayor (9), Kate Neary (10), Arianna Thomas (10), Emily Gudeman (11), and Gabi Avallone (13) not pictured. 

Kate swam in her first swim meet ever.  All her hard work and effort in practice has really paid off!  Congratulations, Kate on a great first meet! KateN09

Gabe had all best times in his three races and received "B" times in his 25 free and 50 free.

Sofia swam in seven races and received best times in six of the races.  She swam the 100 free...which is a long race for a 7-year old.  Great job, Sofia!

Gabi swam in seven races and had 5 best times.  She received an "A" time in the 50 free (28.27) and the 100 free (1:01.65).  Congrats, Gabi!

Annalisa swam in seven races and had three new best times in the 50 free (48.64), 25 free (21.57) and the 25 breast (37.15)..

Julian swam the 100 back (1:57.58) and the 100 breast (2:17.20) for the first time.

Samantha took off almost 6 seconds in her 50 breaststroke (1:00.09).

Emily had fantastic swims in the 100 back and 50 breast - taking off over 11 seconds in each event.  Wow!

Arianna swam in six events and had 3 new best times.  She received a new "B" time standard in the 50 back (45.25) taking off more than four seconds.

We had some great swims at this meet.  Many of our swimmers swam events for the very first time.  That is always fun to watch.  Our dives looked really good, our streamlines were tight, and the team support was something to be proud of!
