Four members of AquaSol participated in the meet that played host to 1800 swimmers representing 300 teams from all over the world.  

Mikaela & Coach Steve

Mikaela Fuller (15) posted her first ever USA Sectional qualifying time of 17:55.13 in the 1650 free - placing 8th.  She also went a best time in the 100 free (55.37) and a best time in the 1000 free (10:47.62). 

Haley Owens (13) swam in her first Far Westerns ever and improved her time in the 200 breast (2:38.63).

Marissa Garcia (12) also swam in her first Far Westerns and improved her 100 breast (1:17.00) and 50 back (31.37). 

Kevin Mertz (15) swam a 9:55.13 in the 1000 free and a 2:02.67 in the 200 fly.

"An overall good showing coming off some real outstanding meets recently.  I'm happy for Mikeala Fuller with her new sectional cut in the mile.  You can really see where her dedication paid off," said Coach Steve.
