Head Coach Steve Skidmore

Coach Steveis an A.S.C.A. Level 4 certified coach with twenty-five years experience coaching age-group and senior swimmers from novice to national competitors. He competed for the Santa Clara Swim Club under Hall of Fame coach George Haines.

As a high school swimmer, he was a two time high school All-American. He continued his swimming career at Brigham Young University. As a swim coach, Steve produced Far Western, Western Zone, and Junior National champions. He was the Head Coach of the Pacific Swimming LSC championship team in Maui, HI 2001. Coach Steve has staffed numerous USA Swimming sponsored camps around the country.

Head Age-Group Coach Janine Joy

 Coach Janine is a former nationally ranked USA swimmer and currently a top nationally ranked Masters swimmer who has been with AquaSol as a developmental coach since 2004. Janine was a Junior College All-American swimmer and a State Champion.

She holds her BA in Physical Education with an emphasis on teaching.  Janine has a keen eye for stroke technique and specializes in stroke development.

Coach Tod Pickett

Tod has been involved with swimming since he was three; developing into an age-group champion and college All-American.  US Olympic Coach Ernie Maglischo, author of the highly regarded Swimming Fast series, coached him in college at Chico State.  Tod went on to coach seven years at Fairfield High School before moving back to El Dorado County with his wife, a county native, and their three sons.

Since returning to the county eleven years ago, in addition to his full-time job in the solar industry, Tod has been involved in leadership roles with the Suburban Swim League and has been the driving force behind Special Olympics swimming.

Coach Terry Jones (retired)

Coach Terry's swimming and coaching career spanned over forty years at the age group, high school and college levels - including the Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, CO.   He coached multiple Far Western Champions and watched his swimmers go onto Junior Nationals, Nationals, and Olympic Trials.   Stroke technique instruction was Terry's specialty.
