We offer a free week trial for all swimmers.If you'd like to try AquaSol Swim Team for a week, please let us know by sending an email through our website using this ASK US link. Once a date is set-up, we will have our parent "greeter" meet you at the pool to introduce you to the coaches and help get you started. After your free trial week, you are required to join USA Swimming (18 & under). USA Swimming covers the team insurance for AquaSol, USA Swim Coaches and swimmer development. To participate in future practices or meets, all swimmers (clinic & year-round) must be registered with USA Swimming.
How to Register for USA Swimming: You can register for USA Swimming two ways. - Mailing in the form ($70).
Online Registration done through Swim Connection (approx $72).
USA Swimming offers year-round registration and seasonal registration. Following are the dates and prices: - Year-Round Athletes - $70
Valid September 1, 2011 to December 31, 2012 - Season 2 Athletes - $44
Valid May 7, 2012 to October 3, 2012

(916) 971-9836 AquaSol team members receive a percentage discount on most purchases. Parent FAQ's: Please sign your child up for the meets. This is an important part of being on the team. Going to meets helps keep your kids motivated and excited about coming to practice. Please plan to time at all swim meets. We send out a list of timing responsibilities prior to meets. Please get your child to the pool on time. Regular attendance plays a key part to swimming success. Please inform the coaches of any illnesses or missed days due to other activities. If you need to speak with your child's coach, please make arrangements to do so outside of the practice time. As a team member, we do participate in fund-raising activities throughout the year.
Communication:The primary source of communication is via our bi-monthly newsletter and our website. You will be added to our email list within a week of joining. Please check our website & your email daily for important announcements, meet sheets, etc. We also have family folders in the pool office. Please check those folders for paperwork, cards, etc.
AquaSol strives to keep an open line of communication between swimmers, parents and coaches. Keeping coaches aware of any problems that a swimmer may be having helps them to be better coaches for that athlete. Parents with a brief question, comment or concern should see a coach either before or after practice. Parents wishing to discuss something in detail should set an appointment. Parents should only approach a coach during practice time during an emergency.
