The Senior Swimmer of the Month is 12-year old Marissa Garcia.

Marissa has become a year-round swimmer this year and with that, has learned some good training habits and racing skills.  These things paid off for her at JO's last month where her 5-6 practices a week allowed her to take big chunks of time off her race times and reach Far Westerns. 

Her use of racing skills help her as well.  Marissa has really taken well to the year round USA Swimming program.  She should go far in this sport. 

Keep up the good work, Marissa!

The Junior Swimmer of the Month is 10-year old Allison Marcus.

Allison Marcus

Allison has great attendance, she's very attentive in practice, and is a great team player.  She brings a positive energy to the group and always does her best.  She even stays after practice to do some extra laps.

All three coaches (Steve, Janine & Abby) easily agreed that Allison was the best choice for this month.
