The Senior Swimmer of the Month is 15-year old Kevin Mertz.

Kevin has put in a solid winters training and has followed the program and protocol. His dedication paid off for him at high school sections where he finished in the top 10 in the 500 free swimming a 4.42.60. His 200 freestyle was good enough for consolations.  He swam a 1.47.30.  Kevin is 20 seconds faster than he was a year ago in the 500 and 7 seconds faster in the 200.  I expect a good summer for him as he continues to challenge himself.

The Junior Swimmer of the Month is 13-year old David Chong.

David swims in Level 3.  His recent attendance at practice and meets has been wonderful.  David has great underwater work and loves to race.  His attendance and work ethic has helped him make Junion Olympic cuts in the last few meets he's attended.  David brings a lot of energy to the group and lots of new, fun water polo drills.
