Birthdays

July 2010 ~ Coleman Goode and Reilley Waterman

The Senior Swimmer of the Month is 18-year old Coleman Goode.

Coleman has been a member of AquaSol since it 's inception and sadly, he is off to College to continue his academics and swimming careers. Coleman has given this team some very inspiring swims over the years as well as a great personality that we will all miss. Coleman always recognized the need to help out whenever he could. He was always there to help pull tarps when it was windy and cold, he always showed up on friday nights to swim the 1000, the 400 IM or 500. He is a great finals swimmer - someone I could count on to give 100% especially during finals. He was also a great relay swimmer, again always laying it on the line (even if he just got done swimming an event right before the relay). Recently, Coleman came to JO's to swim his last meet with AquaSol and he really made us proud once again swimming 4/4 lifetime bests and winning the 100 Breast and 200 IM.

Thanks, Coleman!  We'll miss you!

We all wish you the best of luck at Ventura College and hope we see you at a meet sometime soon.

The Junior Swimmer of the Month is 11-year old Reilley Waterman.

Reilley has done some incredible things in just 3 meets.  At his first meet, he came just to "watch" his friends, Seth & Amy, compete.  At that time, he had been swimming with us for just a short while.  We convinced him to deck enter the meet.  He swam the 50 free & 50 back and did great!

At his second meet in South Lake Tahoe, he entered more events and had huge time drops.  At his third meet in Woodland (his 1st long course meet ever), he qualified for Junior Olympics in the 100 free and just missed qualifying in the 5o free.

Reilley has a wonderful attitude in practice, always tries his hardest, and is willing to push himself in practice in order to achieve such things as Junior Olympics and big, big time drops.

Keep up the good work, Reilley!
