AquaSol names award winners

EL DORADO — AquaSol celebrated its 2011-2012 season with five awards covering 10 swimmers.
Kaela Marcus was awarded the coveted Terry Jones Award, given to those that have most fervently adhered to the training program, committed themselves as student -athletes and best represented what Terry instilled in his swimmers.
From 2001 to 2007, Jones coached the swimmers in the Placerville and Western Slope area and started AquaSol. He set a great example for his swimmers through his dedication to his team and produced dozens of top-level swimmers.
Other winners were: Most Improved Swimmer - Hannah Covington and Matt Coen. Most Inspirational Swimmer - Jason Williams, Mac Guinn and Marissa Garcia. Team Player Award - Grady Lynch and Marcella Jacquemain. Age Group Swimmer of the Year (12 and under) - Jonah Harm and Julia Somera
