AquaSol Alumni Ave' Owens and Patrick Sammon are representing their schools at the NCAA Championships this 2024-2025 season! Ave' Owens is a student athlete at Delta State University and is currently competing at the Division II NCAA Women's Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana. Swimmers from the AquaSol senior group competed at the 2025 California Nevada Speedo Sectional Championships in Roseville, Ca over the weekend (February 28th – March 2nd). The meet had forty teams and over 400 swimmers competing at the competition. Congralutations to Gabe Hudgens, a senior at Oak Ridge High School, for being selected to USA Swimming's Scholastic All-American Team for the 2023-24 season. Gabe's hard work in both the classroom and the swimming pool earned him this honor and is a fantastic achievement. This past weekend, 27 of our swimmers competed in the 2024 SNS 14 & Under Championships in Roseville,CA. Shout out to our 11-12 Boys relays for placing 3rd in both 200 Free & 400 Free Relay! This past weekend teams from the Pac-12 conference competed in the Men's Pac-12 Swimming/ Diving Conference Championships. Arizona State University (ASU) is one of the teams that competed in the Championships. Patrick Sammon, an AquaSol alum, is a junior competing for ASU. On the third night of finals Patrick was representing ASU and competing in the men's 200 individual Freestyle. Over the past weekend, four senior swimmers from AquaSol traveled to the College of Marin in Novato, CA to compete in the Speedo Sectional Championships! The meet was contested in long course meters and was a trials and finals meet! Despite inclement weather with strong winds, cold temperatures, and intermittent rain the athletes competed well showing a lot of perseverance and grit! Over the weekend of July 30/31, our team hosted 300 plus swimmers representing 12 teams at the Prospector Plunge. This was by far the largest meet our team has hosted and it was a huge success. We had 54 AquaSol swimmers participate. For many, this was their first USA meet experience! CCA Meet – A record breaking meet for AquaSol! AquaSol had a record 35 swimmers combining for over 150 best times at the CCA Spooktacular meet in Roseville, October 3-5. Kyle Lehr represented the Aquasol Swim Team racing as part of the Sierra Nevada's Western Zone age group travel team. Fifty four (54) swimmers from our LSC were chosen to form the travel team that raced in Federal Way, Washington. The team left on Tuesday morning (8/5/14) and started racing on Thursday. The Senior group from the Aquasol Swim Team was represented by eight (8) swimmers at the Senior Western Zone Championships in Clovis, California, July 31st – August 3rd, 2014. There were over 1,200 swimmers representing eight different states at the swim meet. The meet hosts used two different facilities with 50 meter pools at both locations.
