  Seven members of the Aquasol Swim Team’s Senior group traveled to Federal Way, Washington to compete in a three day (December 6th – 8th, 2013) trials and finals Championship meet.  There were 1,007 swimmers competing in the meet.  The teams competing were from college and USA Swimming programs.   The opportunity to compete at this meet was a tremendous learning experience for all the athletes.  It allowed the swimmers to race against college swimmers and some of the top age group swimmers in the country.   This meet required...

  Over the weekend of November 9th & 10th, 2013, the Senior group from Aquasol traveled to Redding, California to compete in a Junior+ trials and finals meet.  The meet was fortunate to have incredible weather and had a good draw of swimmers from both California and Oregon.  This was the first trials and finals meet of the season and offered a lot great opportunities to get "second" swims for all the swimmers.    Each swimmer competing in the meet earned the opportunity to swim a final at night.  Two...

Congratulations to Kaela Marcus for being selected as one of two Junior Athlete Representatives for our LSC, Sierra Nevada Swimming (SNS).  Kaela was recently selected through the Board of Directors for SNS and will serve for two years. Her responsibilities include, but are not limited to, representing the athletes at quarterly LSC board meetings, keeping the LSC's facebook page up to date, and attending the USA Swimming convention. Members from the Senior Group representing the Aquasol Swim Team traveled to Clovis, Ca. to compete in the Senior Western Zone Championship meet, July 31st - August 4th, 2013.  This was a trials and finals meet that was competed in long course meters.  There were over 1000+ swimmers competing representing teams from 10 different states.  The meet was large enough that they actually used two different facilities to run the preliminary sessions.  Once the swimmers were determined for the nightly finals session then the meet reconvened at one facility, Clovis...
